Tenth Grade Homework of the Week:


Monday 6/6:
  • Read "Dead Men's Path" in the red lit book: pgs. 1274 - 1277; fill in short story handout. Be sure to write down key words/phrases that denote tone.
  • Copy/paste the Modern and Contemporary period info into your literary periods and print out entire grid: BE SURE TO PUT GRID IN PORTRAIT AND REDUCE FONT SIZE TO REDUCE NUMBER OF PAGES TO PRINT OUT. Bring to class.
  • Bring The Catcher in the Rye to class
  • Following curriculum sheet you rec'd on Thursday: pull out all guide/notes on the stories from your binder and order them by literary period.

Tuesday 6/7:
  • Read from the Ramayama in your Interactive Reader; do the activities on each page
  • Begin reviewing each literary period and the correlating literature guides/notes, etc.

Wednesday 6/8:
  • Study literary periods grid for a quiz today
  • Do parallelism worksheet review
  • Do punctuation worksheet review
  • Continue reviewing literary periods and the correlating stories/plays/ etc.
Thursday 6/9:
  • Complete literary terms/devices worksheet review
  • Do grammar worksheet review
  • Continue reviewing literary periods and the correlating stories/plays/ etc.

Friday 6/10:
  • Final Exam
